Peningkatan Kreativitas Seni Rupa Anak Usia Dini melalui Media Bahan Alam

The cultivation of human creativity should begin at an early age. A creative environment and the availability of opportunities for children to engage in various creative activities greatly assist in developing their creative culture. It is important to remember that the world of children is the beginning of their creative development. Children are creative individuals; with their imagination and creativity, they can become pilots and fly around the sky using only a pencil, or become heroes who help those in need, and so on. Thus, fundamentally, children possess natural creative potential. Parents and educators, in this case, are tasked with optimizing this potential. Difficulties children face in developing their artistic creativity can hinder their ability to create creative ideas or concepts in daily life, as previously explained, humans are born with creative potential. Based on the title and background above, the researcher formulates the problem as follows: How can efforts be made to enhance children's artistic creativity through natural materials at SPS Bina Balita Cingambul for the 2024/2025 academic year? This study aims to determine efforts to enhance early childhood visual arts creativity through natural materials in Group B at SPS Bina Balita Cingambul, Majalengka District. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research design/model used is the Kemmis and MC Taggart model. This study was conducted in three cycles. The tools used for data collection include observation methods, tests, and documentation. The subjects of this study are students at SPS Bina Balita, with a total of 20 children. The success indicator set was 75% of the 20 children falling into the “Developing as Expected” (DAE) category. The results of the study showed that the children's creativity levels were initially low, with a pre-cycle percentage of 15.63% in the DAE category. After the first meeting of Cycle I, this increased to 28.75%, which was still insufficient to achieve learning mastery. In the first meeting of Cycle II, the results were significantly better than before, reaching 63.75%, but this was still below the learning mastery threshold. Therefore, the researcher conducted Cycle III, resulting in a percentage of 93.13%. This was considered successful because in Cycle III, the children at SPS Bina Balita achieved learning completion with the category of Developing as Expected (BSH).
